It was more of a Bed and breakfast versus a lodge from the time we visited some friends staying there, It would be a sweet cottage though with lots of space to entertain.

I spoke with Kathy at the Westway this afternoon and it looks like we will be cancelling our New Years Trip in all likelihood and trying to reschedule it for later in the winter if that is even possible this season.

Thought I would share this with you guys, Hope to see some of you around that weekend.

Westway is our preferred place to stay in Cochrane, have stayed at the Thriftlodge a couple of years ago but found rooms very cold and showing their age. They do have a good restaurant though Terry's which is a short cab ride from the Westway. Jr's and what was the Ice hut are within walking distance or cab ride. We are booked in from January 1st for a few nights stay. Looks like there may be a few OCers kicking around.

Team Snowcrest has been out the past few weeks like many other clubs working on trails, Was out on the D south of Gravenhurst towards Kahshe Lake this week with a few of the Board members doing some much needed repairs. Group of the guys are going out today working on the trails again.

It’s the Walker Evans shocks that they use. They will get all the sleds delivered very soon.

Same thing happened last year with Mlsta club near Bala

So frustrating that stuff like this happens.. I’ve seen a couple guys offer to help pay for replacing the wood that was stolen that’s really nice to see.

Selling a tekvest Supersport model size Xl used 2 weekends like new condition. Must pick up in either Barrie or Gravenhurst. Brand new they retail for $499.00 selling it for $300.00. I will do a little better for anyone on the Forum that is interested in it.

We used the upnorth technologies dual adapter last year and it’s really good. Not cheap but it does work and fit well. If you’re looking for a single adapter South Simcoe Machine makes them and they are in Ontario great guys. hope this helps. Congrats on your new sled btw

I have not heard anything about the actual numbers of permit sales at this point. Every club in Ontario is working like crazy trying to get ready for the upcoming season in this crazy world we live in now. I would expect sales to be decent but there is also quite a few that were going to hold off buying off and paying the full price once they felt the trails would in fact be open. Sorry haven't been on here very much recently, got lots of stuff on the go with work and such and still trying to enjoy a bit of the fall atv season. New sled is expected in the next couple of weeks and then wrapping it and getting some things done to it.
