When we were last at the Jolly Roger we were in a U shaped section and the sleds were parked in the "courtyard" directly outside the room.

Exactly... just be happy they allow crossing the dam the rest of the year and say thank you.

LOL.... he's the clown who opened his restaurant in defiance of the shut down order. Then they found out that his restaurant also wasn't licensed or inspected.

Good job by the OPP... freeloaders don't get penalised often enough and the penalty isn't costly enough

Parry Sound / North Bay Health Region trail closure is over!

You just know he would never have the balls to change his decision before the initial time frame had lapsed. That would mean he would have admitted he was wrong in closing the trails. -
We rode C trail south of Midland Penetang which is also a multi-use Tay Rail Trail mid week a couple of weeks ago. It was less than ideal and even mid week had lots of traffic that day. I can only imagine what it would have been like on Saturday

Those trails do tend to see a lot of traffic and get beaten up real quick. They were great early in the day.

My back wouldn't survive that...

It seems some people devalue the life of a senior compared to someone younger. March break is cancelled and delayed until April. They don't need to or deserve to die prematurely... I can think of a number of much younger people I sure wouldn't miss. My father-in-law is 93 and still going strong. His life isn't any less valuable than someone 43. -
If I understand the trade agreement correctly, there isn't any duty on products manufactured in the U.S. coming into Canada. It's when a product is made outside of the U.S. imported to the U.S. and then gets shipped to Canada that you have duty.

Exactly.... if you can't see over the crest of the hill or around the bend... slow down. I heard last week that snowmobile incidents, going through the ice, crashes between sleds and running into an obstacle like a tree have gone up 141% over the same period last year. At least he has the video to make it easy for the insurance. Glad nobody got hurt.

Consider the idgit is just that... well maybe an arrogant entitled idgit

We were out Wed and Thu last week and still had a couple of close calls with idiots racing around the corner or over the crest of a hill either on the wrong side or in the middle.

I had one person come up with the lame excuse that they didn't want to have evidence of them drinking and riding if they were stopped by the OPP so they left them behind.

A bit south of Pearson airport I opened the front door to a foot of snow against the door. Fluctuating in the driveway... between calf and knee deep.

It's not the province doing this... it's one rogue medical officer. I wonder who hires and fires these people -
I wonder how the county will react when the other users start calling about overgrown trails, downed trees, deep snow and drifts essentially making the trail unusable.

The article states the province is not instituting checks. Hwy 69 is a provincial hwy and not part of the city jurisdiction. -
Thanks... that's what I thought it would be.

I do the same and virtually every time the people I am passing wave in an acknowledgement of appreciation.

Depending on the virus status and southern travel prices could be lower or even higher. Flip a coin. Not using it... sell. That's why I sold my wife's sled... not using it. As for getting the heated seat... I thought I would never use it but the sled came with it. I accidentally hit the switch one time and suddenly thought... hmm... this is kinda nice. I can live without it but since I have it I appreciate it.

Checking the OFSC ITG.... B105 is yellow on the ITG with the exception of a straight stretch between Burnside Line and where it crosses the North River beyond Mt Stephen Rd. That stretch is closed. I suspect it's terrain and water... any insight would be appreciated.

The data centres which I would have been visiting are essentially locked down and restricting access to their key personnel that actually need to be onsite. Their logical support teams have typically been working from home, using the people onsite as smart hands walking them through what to do and only going in when absolutely necessary. My visits have been deferred and are building quite a backlog. Yeah... I tried retirement and couldn't do it. Summer was okay with the boat and fishing, winter was okay when I could sled but the time in between I was going stir crazy so I went to work for myself. 2019 I saw 35 different US cities. Jan 1 to Mar 10 2020 was putting a real kink in my winter with travel to 17 US cities and 2 Canadian. This virus is driving me crazy. The highlight of my day is taking the dog for his early walk then the park to play with a half dozen other dogs in the afternoon.
