  1. Covid shut down the economy. Had the government not flooded it with new money we would have gone into a major recession. However they way over did it from all sides, closed too much and printed too much. Then pretended the printing had no effect on inflation and insisted it was transitory. Clearly we have seen a depreciation of currency value close to 25% over a period of 3 years and being the liberals are financing their idiotic spending with new money it, currency, will continue to decrease in value for the next 2 years. This, combined with the overnight rate moving ever higher will cause a real issue, a slow economy with high inflation still persisting. Those that carry debt will hurt the most, the liberals will raise taxes and print money to support the poor while stripping net worth from the middle income earners. Make no mistake, this was planned. A short grade ten class studying macro economics would be enough understanding to see this. Those that implemented it hold MBAs.

    Gloves.

These things keep the back of hands and fingers warm. We also fish so nice for that as well as skiing. The gloves are nicer than any klims, or for and cost the same or less even if you rarely used the heat.

    Gloves.

Karon electric gloves on at Costco only 150 bucks.
  4. I guess so, but it is what you need to do if you do not want to sell the house to retire and actually e joy being retired. Maybe that description is upper middle class. I am just guessing here. By the sounds of it 90% are in huge debt both secured and in Cc debt. When I was a kid many paid cash for the house, most paid cash for cars and nobody had any cc debt.
  5. Yes debt will kill you eventually, unless the debt has been used to obtain an asset that grows faster than interest and inflation. I think a lot of Canadians are in over their heads right now.
  6. Pretty much need that income to buy a house in any urban center. I guess it depends on how we define middle class. I define it as owning a home 2 vehicles and saving 20% of gross income for retirement.
  7. Being the moronic government of Canada is financing spending by having the BoC create more new money, 54 billion more, while they raise interest rates to curb inflation caused by printing billions over the past 3 years. No, inflation is here to stay, but it will become stagnation. High prices, slow economy. This is all by design to kill off the middle class.
  8. Just rolled by the trqns canada trail near Ashton station road, no packing yet, lots of snow on trail. I would expect they are going to be out soon.
  9. Sask Battery. Free delivery and way less money for yousa.
  10. Check this out. We booked the last week in Feb. Brand new reno, very nice people. And very reasonable pricing. https://www.airbnb.ca/rooms/783474537507120369?adults=1&children=0&infants=0&pets=0&check_in=2023-01-01&check_out=2023-01-06&source_impression_id=p3_1671828410_Zi2ocyvCAKFIKfSZ
  11. I would expect to see a few rail bed trails getting yellow status by new years or before. Any low lying wet areas, not for a while.
  12. I have seen a lot of trucks loaded with ski doos, not any of the others. Glad your sled arrived.
  13. Mine is low. Walking in is pain. Also it will not hold a sxs. You lose a lot of utility. I regret not getting a taller one. Now, if you will only ever use it for sleds it is great, but the op stated long term ownership, and life brings changes, so I would suggest a 16 footer that is tall.
  14. Provincial parks do. The province basically left it up to municipalities. Unorganized townships are ok to drink in public. However being drunk in public is still on offence.
  15. My paid version crashes when i try routing. Hope they fix it. Still a must have for the price of a starbucks

    Oxygen

I have to wear glasses. Think it best to go try on the mission and the oxygen and see which works best. The wife also needs a new lid so it would seem either would be good for her. This is one of the few items I am happy to replace after the fire. Always enjoy getting new sled gear.

    Oxygen

    That is a great idea.
  18. To be fair, the legal limit is anything under 0.05 bac. Not to mention, drinking in public is legal in ontario in many spots. Hence, legal activity to have one trailside beer. I fail to see the issue. Impaired is another story.

How is sizing compared to ckx etc.? Thanks.
  20. I have 2 klim suits. One is a valdez jacket with free ride pant, non insulated, the other is insulated. The valdez is older, the insulated one season old. Layering is better imo, rode in that set up down to minus forty. Will not bother with insulated gear in future when I buy again. The suit is too warm at times.
  21. I had to tow a yamaha warrior up oh crap hill with my cat....my belt was not happy.
  22. Once again folks can make new memories at an old haunt. 4 new cabins, a shop, and a new bears den. Good news.
