I do recall there were a lot both brands (OMCs especially since they were built in Ptbo). We'd always say a such & such sled had been by if we say a track imprint w/ the center sprocket in the snow. revrnd
A couple of items for Throwback Thursday The 'car wash' @ Kenissis Lake during the winter of '86 or '87 (not 1 of us) He sank it on a subsequent attempt. Also, was the highlighted trail ever an official trail north from Kamiscotia? I think my friend who lived in Timmins from '92 to '99 mentioned to me about co-workers riding up to SRF using this route.

They had a truck up on the middle of the bridge with block and tackle / pulleys and a line down to the sled. The guy that hooked up the line ( the rider? ) got pretty wet. That's a '85 Plus, it would've only been a year or 2 old. Yes the rider in this case was soaked too when he went down w/ the ship.

Helped a group last year fish out a new Artic Cat, apparently blew his belt approaching the water and just came up short. His wife was pissed!!!!

I have an open invitation to ride with an old co-worker who lives in Kaniscotia with his friends from there up to SRF. So far I have not taken him up on the offer. They have mountain sleds.
