      The older I get the taller my windshields get. I wear a balaclava with back and chest protection to eliminate any neck breeze, deer skin gloves from Work Wear with muffs. No cold hands, ever. Hot Paws in my pockets for trailside coffee breaks where my gloves go inside my jacket. I also carry mitts on board for the times I may need them.  It all works perfect for temps down to around -15. I've rode in colder with this setup but trailside stops arent happening. At -20 I'm just heading somewhere warm. Home or a motel, either will do. lol Hot Paws are cheap and my best friend. Early "ice out" on the water or sledding. There are days that I hit Georgian bay at first light and sledding in the afternoon. Good days.

      Definitely good advice. I had one pop off years ago on a speed bump. Thankfully it was in a lumber yard at 5mph. Not so thankfully, I hit the brakes and the tongue caved in the rear van door.

      Great advice!!!  I bought a trailer a month ago and found the same thing.  Couldn’t believe how sloppy it was pulling it home.  Few turns later good as new.  Very good advice to look at these things.     Take a screwdriver and poke at the exterior of your torsion axels as well.  Talked to a guy with a 2012 who had a torsion axle snap.  Tire air pressure, visual check on the welds.  Never hurts to do some maintenance.  They don’t go far, but do take a beating.  Especially if you tow into Northern Ontario or into Quebec.  God help your trailer if it’s travelled across the north side of Montreal on Hwy 40.  Lol

      Like sksman said, the klim heated gloves are the gloves to get. FXR gloves are way too stiff in general.  klim gloves are the best!

      Decided this was the year to clean and repack the trailer wheel bearings, bearings were fine, but one seal fell apart in my hand.....glad I did this.   While looking the trailer over, I decided to clean the rust off the chrome hitch ball with a scotch brite and varsol.   Thought I'd do the same to the hitch, lots of old packed dirty grease came out.    When I was happy I did a fit test and found too much vertical free play between the ball and hitch.   Took 3 full turns of the adjustment nut to tighten things up Worth checking yours.....
