    • I have owned lots of two strokes and never rebuilt one yet. New Polaris 650 are better built then etecs. There are no sealed bearings on crank, they all get lube now. Everyone thinks they are 20,000 km engine too. Time will tell. Someone on here ran there 2024 xcr 650 up to almost 10,000 kms and no trouble. That's good enough for me.
    • North end of district 9 looks like were starting over. Too much rain. Still raining this morning but I see some cold temps and snow in the coming days.
    • I enjoyed the 4 strokes when I traveled for group rides, but prefer a 2 stroke now that I just ride locally. I certainly wouldnt buy a big bore 2 stroke with high miles. Ticking time bomb. We sold my wifes little 600 Blizzard with 13,000kms on it and it still ran great. Resealed the crank case, carb boots, fuel lines and fresh rings at around 10,000kms.
    • They all have problems, they all have pluses and minuses. Easier, and more cost effective to rebuild a 2 stroke, better longevity with a 4 stroke. I have had both, and honestly dont care anymore. I buy the best chassis for my riding style. I prefer a 2 stroke. This was in Dub Sunday... Newer 4 stroke Doo. Ran good the day before, put in heated garage overnight, didn't want to start, or run well after it started in the morning. Back fired a few times, then flames started coming out from under the hood.
