Blake G
Most fun I've had since April 30th. Running backroads around Port Sydney. Thanks to Muskoka Man for his report on snow conditions. Edited November 12, 2018 by Blake G

Canuck
Way to go, Blake! I'd like to put together a snowmobile video to the song below... for early season solo riders..."he's driving the distance...one man..driving, as fast as he can..the sun has gone down and the moon has come up .. he's driving and driving...he's going the distance" (goofy video on youtube, this should be filmed to powersports) Listen to first minute, chorus is at 30 seconds (is that what you call it, Slomo, chorus??). Anyhow, great that you got out, Blake. To all the early season riders.
Techdenis007
I'm proud to say that Blake is my friend.... my hero .... Gobills, I can't even afford to put gas in a sled at the moment.. it's still a bit thin up here, gravel roads would be chunky without another 3 inches of snow.

Blake G
It snowed quite a bit around Barrie last night, but I guess urban activity dictates that roads must be plowed and salted. The best place I could find today was the Anten Mills neighbouhood, where I putted around for half an hour, until I ventured too close to a busier road and got my first slush bath of the season. All part of the fun. Edited November 14, 2018 by Blake G

Poo Man
Nice pics. I blew the driveway off and decided not to venture out. Thinking it would be to much of a tease

I had it on for the sled show and it seems to have shrunk a bit over the summer. I have been working on stretching it over the past few weeks since the show and checked to see if it was working. Somewhere I have a picture of a couple of unnamed crazy people sitting on the dock in July with modular helmets, t-shirts, shorts, snowmobile boots and gloves with a cold drink. Their wives refused to join them on the dock to watch the reactions of passing boaters. 1

The yard isn't big enough to put that many miles on w/o flattening out all the snow. That's what the nephew would do Sat' morning on the Elan after fresh snow. Ride around until the yard was completely covered w/ sled tracks.

Techdenis007
2nd picture is beautiful.... Looks like we have enough snow for a ride tomorrow. Plows were cleaning the streets this morning and afternoon. I wish the plow guy would call in sick on Fridays and leave us some snow for the weekend.

Have you heard the latest politically correct term for plow guy? They are snow fighters. Not to be confused with fire fighters
