PISTON LAKE CRUISER
Tried one of the earlier versions 15+ years ago. Hated wearing it and it didn't work that great keeping my glasses clean. Finally ended up getting my eyes lazered.
02Sled
There are no fog sprays that work well for glasses. I started using them years ago when I started skiing. The breath mask with my helmet works quite well but I occasionally get a very small amount of fogging on my eye glass lens corners closest to my nose so I use the spray and never get any there either. FreezerBurnt
i find them bulky and a pain if you take off your helmet alot during a ride
skidooboy
no fog masks work, if you fit them correctly. HOWEVER, THEY ARE A HUGE PAIN IN THE ASS. the last 2 seasons, I have used the Klim arctic balaclava. it has a built in nose piece deflector like a no fog mask. it has a windproof fleece lined neck gaiter similar to a dickie style neck covering. the head portion is thin and breathable and has moisture wicking properties. I have been able to eliminate the no fogs I used to run, AND the breath box on the helmet when utilizing the arctic balaclava. I have used this down to -30 with NO ISSUES. THEY ARE NOT CHEAP, Klim is REALLY PROUD, of their stuff but, it does work. ski

02Sled
where does the moisture from your breath go? Does it get absorbed into the material of the balaclava? I would think your chin could get rather damp.

slomo
I have been using NoFog for years, but found the ice buildup and pressure on my head inconvenient. I bought a BV2S helmet hoping it would help with the glasses fogging thing, but after all kinds of trials (and eventually parts fallling off) I got tired of the thing having to fiddle with it trail side at -20. One day last year went over to WildBill's thinking to get a helmet that would be more comfortable with a NoFog. From my post last year "went to WB's place complete with the NoFog mask (only thing that had worked 100% before with glasses) and the usual thickness of balaclava that I wear and took my time with the fitting. Walked outside with the helmet on to check how much fogging occurred. Took about an hour, (tried 4 sizes)but got the correct size. No longer need NoFog mask." The GMAX 64 helmet I bought eliminated the need for the NoFog completely, even in low temps. Here is my review from the thread last year about half way down the page ( no post numbers anymore apparently) : http://ontarioconditions.com/forums/index.php?/topic/15019-advise-on-a-new-helmet/&page=

I would think your chin could get rather damp. There is none, because they are primarily used on an open face helmets, heat escapes down and out of the helmet, preventing goggles from fogging up. Chin does not get cold either, the balaclava covers it.
catinental couch
Before my last 2 helmets I used a liquid product called Fog Off but I had to quit using it because of my pronunciation of it in mixed company.
02Sled
I've used fog off and it works well. I can appreciate the pronunciation aspect. I used to work with a woman who had recently moved to Canada. Her name is Phok Yu. She was for a while unaware of the phrase with a similar pronunciation. she would answer the phone, hello Phok Yu

My son wears one as well, however he has an MX style helmet and finds the mask gets pushed down by the cheek pads in the helmet as he puts it on. He finds this very frustrating and often leaves his helmet on when we stop to rest so he doesn't have to deal with it. So I think everyone's experience is going to be different, especially depending on what helmet they use.
