looks like fun. we will all be riding very soon. I thought about going for a ride last week in Dub (need to break in a new motor), but, decided to wait a bit longer. thank you for sharing Freezie. Ski

another 15-40cm on the way starting tomorrow according :D many models tonight

 

The cold air should be hitting the east by thursday and give you guys some healthy lake effect

There are adapters that go into a standard round 12v like you have in a truck. It has a USB slot in the end. They must be cheap. I got a few of them as giveaways at. Conferences

The potential issue with those is that they can 'wiggle' out of the lighter socket on the sled while riding and disconnect.  Usually becomes noticeable when the device turns off :-(.  I like to hard wire the adapter to 12V.

The 'cigarette lighter' type made for marine use have a bayonet type twist lock on them so slipping out is negligible - pricey, but better than a cold heated jacket.

I don't have Electric start not sure if I can wire it in;)

 

also thought of wiring a heating element inside my handle bar bag

It's likely doable as most sleds today operate on a DC system, unlike 20 years ago they were all AC except the electric start system.  

 

What year & model exactly ?
