  1. Yikkes. Be careful with this advise.
  2. I added an additional 6" of height to mine when I ordered it. Even tho I'm 5'6" tall, it makes a huge difference.
  3. I pick it up on December 17th, I hope everyone else is experiencing similar results. 2023 850xcr / 15x136x1.35 Cobra / 7s Display.
  4. $8/ltr with a $80 minimum?? Doesn't matter, I'm not going anyways.
  5. Every warm-up hut I visit has a garbage can full of empty beer cans, doubt this will make a difference. I see fewer empties on a golf course.
  6. His and hers? How cute.. 🥰

    Oxygen

Similar, I wear a large in both. The CKX is a bit tighter on my cheeks (which is mitigated by the accessory cheekpads you can get for the Mission/Titan). I really like my oxygen - huge visor and nothing stuck to my face :D.. , just make sure you carry an extra visor cord because they have a propitiatory connector (to the helmet). Mind you, its always best to try one on and the dealers seem to have lots of inventory now.
  8. Waiting for the "Boat" pricing to drop. In the market for a glass walleye boat.
  9. If you want the best, look for the Tobe Iter version 2. The Klim Keeweenaw is a close 2nd.
  10. One of these and if you want the ability to roll the sled around, lower it onto a set of 3 point dollies.
  11. I say boycott them, I'm sure everyone here has done the canyon run at least 1x, no need to go back as far as I'm concerned. other than the dam, it wasn't really a memorable trip to begin with.
  12. Happy this won't impact my inbound XCR. sigh,,,,,
  13. I bought a new 24' drive in/out last year and used caliber products. Sure it can get a bit spendy but they come with SS hardware, the hex bit you need, and installation is a breeze (cordless drill). In addition, they have a lifetime warranty and look better than the pictures above ;-D.... PM me if you'd like to discuss further.
  14. I highly recommend an Airbnb. There are tons of them in PQ at all different price points. Just do you research with relation to proximity to the trails. The owners will help with this info as well.
  15. Ahhh, agreed, but i said that they are "not getting rich" off it. Of course they're making money and what's wrong with that? Of course, you can always choose not to go
  16. Yes, you run the risk of the studs tearing up the inside of the tunnel. I studded an AC Lynx (fan cooled) and cat made protectors for it.
  17. My 1st and last time was last March. Up and back on the east side based on reports with issues on the west side. Brought my own fuel but it wasn't enough to fill the tank so I ended up topping it off @ $5/ltr. I'm sure the price will be up from last year. I hear a lot of complaining about the fuel price at base camp but lets face it, its a lot of work/expense for only a couple of months a year. They are not getting rich off this to be certain. Personally, I didn't find the ride all that exciting or interesting until you get to the dam. Sure, you have to do it at least once in your lifetime, if you keep going back, you know what you're in for. Just my $0.02 worth.
  18. As they've done away with yearly tags/stickers for autos, is it the same for sleds? TIA< P
  19. Rented an Air BnB at this location for 8 days over the new year weekend. Did the same last year and we were really impressed with the conditions. Not shown but there's a trail that goes right down the middle of the lake.
  20. I'll likely be heading up there with Snowowl in early March. We prefer week days. This year I'd like to ride to Hearst from Cochrane and stay for 2 nights and then back to Cochrane . Apparently the local trails around Hearst are the best of the northern corridor. I'll keep you in mind if you're interested.
  21. Ended up with Quali's, got them at the show. Thanks for everyone's help
