  1. Self rescue technique. Well worth the few minutes it'll take to watch, just might save yours or a loved ones life one day.
  2. Right click and hit translate to English.
  3. Similar to Toronto show, none of the small vendors that sell studs, carbides n the such. Cool show though.
  4. Once you use Superclamps you'll never use anything else, well worth the investment.
  5. Been treated extremely well by Byers.
  6. ^^^ Especially disappointing after how good his previous F6 was.
  7. While I could not see a thing out of it, convex stuck to the left side of my hood kept the powers to be in Quebec happy for years, did however go with a factory left mirror on my sled last year. Never understood hand mirror not being ok but then again I didn't write or enforce the law. As for trail conditions, never ever once did I feel grooming was sub par, always amazed by the level of grooming they receive. Can think of countless mornings waking up to freshly groomed pure heaven.
  8. Never once a problem with trail patrol guys, found them to be nothing but uber pleasant. Both instances, Police in the Mont Laurier / just north of area.
  9. Love Quebec and love the trails, am however tired of being harassed about my Ontario Reg numbers. Thought two years ago was a fluke, but again last season officer went up one side of me and down the other saying it's illegal to display anything other that the full Ontario reg sticker. While a ticket would have been a piss off, his bs went directly to threats of ordering a tow truck and impounding my sled for improper registration. Just like the first time, saw he and his partner were stopping sleds, pulled up and shut the sled off, removed my helmet and proceeded to get all my paperwork out. Sled has absolutely correct Ontario numbers, has a current val tag and Ontario pass both displayed correctly, also has season Quebec pass displayed exactly as required. I also had all required documents, yes all up to date as well and no never ever once gave him even the slightest hint of anything but courteous respect. For the second time, sent a letter to the Quebec Federation, no reply. Will not be purchasing a Quebec permit this coming fall, neither will the riders I was with, we all received similar treatment.
  10. I also get years n years outta ones from Royal dist but do ride with a few guys that are constantly replacing.
  11. Great to meet you in person today, hammer looks terrific, many thanks Rick.
  12. It was only a secret until the crown finally saw fit to release it, kid in the car that he collided with got 110% rail roaded and a certain politician rode the verdicts coat tail all the way to seeing the street racing legislation passed and we the people corn holed. Ever wonder why they new crews quit cruizin tow lots and reporting on street racer car impounded? EAsy answer, cause the pounds are full of soccer Mom vans and SUVs with hardly a H/P car to be found. Did you also know pulling outta your gravel cottage road and so much as squeaking the tires on your family truckster as they transition from gravel to paved surface can see your lic pulled and vehicle impounded under an officers interpretation of Street Racing?
  13. Only in Quebec once this year but our group did find signage a lil lacking as compared to what we normally find. Even with that, hard to discount the Quebec experience for quality n quantity of trails. Also like there always seems to be a place along the way to fuel up or stop for a meal, they are just plain geared towards sledding in a way Ontario just isn't (not saying I don't appreciate Ontario).
