    • lol, that is not what I meant, Rick! I referring to whatever the future will be, good or bad - this year the 4 mil the tax payers coughed up will help ease the pain and hopefully fix some of the issues most were very disappointed with, but it’s a bandaid, I’m talking about the plan shared to weather the storms now and tomorrow for the future of Ontario sledding.  I agree 110%, things look very optimistic this year with weather and unofficial reports that permit sales are up.   Year to year I actually don’t have targets to hit, just get out and ride when able to, where conditions allow and always enjoy it! I don’t get down about the environment of sledding, appreciate that I can do it, but when you see/hear people getting down about the sport, etc…it’s not what you or anyone wants to see of course.
    • Sprucedale Hotel and Spa . Trail right to the door ,dirt cheap no reservations required . Bring your own bedding and towels .
    • Oh my, that is quite the surprise. haven’t been there in years on or near opening weekend, but usually packed and people from fairly far…Windsor I’d say was the furthest a group of guys came from that we talked with.
    • I agree. Snow everywhere, and if it keeps up and we have another awesome riding season we may see this help sales moving forwars. Still need a price hike, and with politicians now seeing the light, perhaps we will get that as well. It may be better accepted if we do see a nice long season province wide. Lets hope for the best, plan fpr the worst and enjoy what we get.
    • Permit sales are up 30% and the whole province is covered in snow, and the province topped up last years shortfall. You can prepare for the worst Stoney, I'll be over here preparing for an epic season  lol
