    • It's happening all over the place, things are not what they "appear", 99% of the time. If you were to pull back the curtains, you would likely see the real story of what is actually going on at a lot of these dealerships.
    • Rocky's HD in London closed apparently because of this as well as the dealer in Cambridge and some others in Ontario. Overheads just too high. Very shortsighted decision by Harley's management. They lost representation in many major markets.
    • We’re still doing that, similar to Harley, they were wanting dealer buildings to have highway/roadside visibility. Real estate is expensive as we all know.   Their demands to be able to sell their product were/are significant, with most, if not all risk sitting with the dealer.   no thanks
    • Yeah big investment and  lots of risk too. They risk losing customers when they do this. Not sure what other choices are in your area. We have more Polaris dealers then skidoo dealers around me now. I can count three Polaris dealers within 30 mins of kw and one skidoo dealer.
    • I dont know how BRP is doing things recently, but the last dealer we had was given a choice. BRP had a "model" of what a dealer space should be and wanted a big investment from the owner. Being near retirement, he decided to part ways with them rather than invest in the building he occupied. Still does service but I dont think he's a dealer rep these days. I believe his son has taken over.
