I used to spend alot of time in the area with a bunch of inlaws and feel like I should be able to offer some advise, but I spent all my time in the dangerous waters intentionally. Small boat hunting for lunkers. I always had a piece of railway tie and hammer to fix my prop damage. lol

Agree 100%, but the newer ones now have a vent on handle.

Just hard to find nozzles to pour that are flexible and last.   Although I find myself using the brass ball siphon hose most of the time now.  It’s about same time to pour as the new style cans.    

Catholics use screws .

For these cans the mennonites drill a hole near the back of the handle and stick an appropriate sized nail in it.
