I was a little appalled at some of the prices I saw at the show last weekend, particularily Yamaha. So I thought I would compare the Canadian list prices to the US on the net. Yamaha Canada: 2010 RS Vector GT $14699. Yamaha USA: 2010 RS Vector GT $10499. Thats a full 40% difference. I don't like buying used machines, but when the time comes, I think I'll consider cross border shopping for one. Thanks for listening to me vent. I remember caustic comments made by some riders wondering what Mexicans knew about snowmobiles; but...... that may have just been a toss-off joke. That's when a new machine was $6500 US (AC ZR 800's). I have one on order now that is nearly 2X the price. Wish I could have bought this one with the same savings.
