Finally - winter weather is on it's way

Looks like el nino is behind us and more stable (colder) weather is finally on it's way.  I'd say a couple more weeks and things should green up nicely.

This is the first year that I've purchased both ON and PQ trail passes, along with taking a work assignment in Deep River (I'm a block from the Bear's Den), so needless to say I've been chompin at the bit to experience riding right out of my own yard!

Fingers crossed everyone :)

Strange year. That area usually open in December. Hopefully it's open soon. I still want to do a rap tourer this year 🙏

lol. Realist remember!  I stopped hoping and wishing a couple years ago. I just look at the history of what the weather reports say and they very rarely come to fruition. Hoping this one comes through but…….

Most big hype storms seem to be a bust ,most nice snowfalls arent even forecasted

I know it would be nice, but I do not even look at snow amounts south of Dorset typically, Gravenhurst as the season gets going or Kinmount with the railbed......could not imagine looking in my back yard or Kitchener or even Barrie for significant snow amounts to have any hopes for the season.

Exactly - and why places like haliburton region with higher elevations usually fair better.....small amounts of snow fall each night that is not even forecasted.
