Iron skillet in Kearney

There is enough business to go around. No need for slamming other businesses, stealing signs , telling people that the other places are closed. Just not good business and personal ethics in my eyes.

Yes it does but some sledders I know could not find the Skillet last week and ate at Suds instead

Suds is the last place I would go... last time we were there was a real bad experience and will never be repeated.

It may not be the case in this instance, but some clubs have a zero tolerance for businesses posting signs on the trails if they don't advertise or ask permission. A business in Apsley had signs all over the place even on neighbouring clubs' trails. As bad as Smittys Appliances in Hastings County

We aren't assuming anyone local or locally associated with a particular business is destroying our signage. It happens. We aren't blaming anybody. We consider it wear and tear. If you want your name on the trails.. You have to make it happen..

That being said..next year we will pollute the trails. Apparently you don't need approval.

Stopped in on Wednesday, smoked meat sandwich and Russian soup was excellent.  BTW, for other foodies, had dinner at the Northridge up on Lake Benard the other day, new owners and brought in a great chef.  It was over the top good.

cheers

Rob

Just checking. Some places close on Mondays, it seems. Hoping to make it up your way later this week.
