  1. It only becomes fun once your conditioned and in shape for it. It takes a few months or so to adjust fully, then it is both fun and rewarding. Remember the key to a good employee has nothing to do with experience, qualifications, education. The key aatributes of a great employee are these types of traits; 1. Having a good attitude 2. punctual 3. Be attentive and a good listener 4. Apply what you have been told 5. Dont speak unless necessary 6. Stand attentatively, no hands in pockets, no sitting down 7. no phone use during work 8. Dress appropriately for your job 9. Be flexible and willing to adapt 10. Cooperate well with others 11. Be trust worthy and honest 12. This list can go one and on, but its a good start
  2. Its great to see you guys thinking about ideas and contributing to this kind of discussion, its very healthy. In my experience once peoples emotional energy is idling around neutral, its quite easy to solve challenges and resolve problems. Speaking of emotional energy this https://nationalpost.com/opinion/conservative-favourite-party-of-unionized-canadians is one major discussion that needs to happen with calm, low tones, and no name calling. Logical solutions bring about logical reality. Emotional decisions that try and create solutions, end in chaos. Very unhealthy position the Liberals and NDP have sold onto the women of Canada. As always the key to remember, if it sounds too good to be true? It is.
  3. I believe the core issue with the youth is on two fronts, and a third issue. The two fronts are 1; home life has changed so much over the past 30 years that in almost all cases both parents work, and the kids are provided with more stuff, without having to do chore work for it. Most of said stuff involves sitting on duff clicking buttons, staring at screens, eating junk food, and never hearing the word no. It is very hard to blame the parents for this as they have provided well for their children and certainly made sure they had the things the parents did not growing up which is sound motivation, but the end outcomes of their kids futures are now as we see Tyler above etc not off to a rosy start. Almost as if todays age of 30 is yesterdays 18. 2. Work ethic and rewards for merit and successes. By and large this seems to have been evaporated in the under 25 crowd and for this it is entirely the no winners/losers in sports, everyone gets a trophy nonsense taught at schools to blame. The schools have done a great job and getting people to mostly respect one another, if only it were not at the expense of their own individual potential and the potential of all of us within Canada itself. Which transitions me into the third issue. Federal and provincial debts and policy are moving us towards a very challenging time for these gen y/z and beyond people. The very people our gov't has knee capped psychologically speaking against their own potential by winding them down to passives non aggressive non competes. At the very time we need high levels of ambition and innovation to raise our national economy up to pay off all the bad debt policy from the boomers. So as we are now seeing whos filling that hole and as far as I can see over achieving? Immigrants. To this end, I wish them well because if they are going to be Canadians then I wish them to be prosperous Canadians. What good would we be as Canadians if we didnt provide this potential for immigrants? Domestically speaking How do we possibly turn the tides in favour of our own home grown kids to also thrive? We need to start with the schools, ditch the woke crap, keep factual things as they are and do our best to support the ones who fall through those inevitable cracks instead of forcing all the kids downwards through those very same cracks under wokeism policy and calling that fair. It absolutely is not fair, its also incredibly unwise and even worse, its child abuse. No more
  4. Indians LOVE small businesses and who can blame them? For whatever reason Gen X Canadian born do NOT like small businesses. They seem to prefer the commie approach sucking on the gov't teets. What a shame. I wish the new owners tremendous success. We had a thread going a few months ago about new immigrants working their butts off, getting ahead, while born in Canada kids and young adults are getting high, doing as little as possible.
  5. Cool! I had piles of these and dont know where they are but if I find em, i'll post em. From what I remember Snow 1 was awesome back in the 80's and seemed to set the bar for what OFSC trails were to become. I never rode Quebec back then so? But in Ontario that trail was amazing. Blew a few engines running it đŸ˜±
  6. Thinking of your battle Bill, soldering up some more support from Markham. All the best
  7. I remember when that place burned down. It took a monumental effort and provincial support to rebuild it period correct. Seems the classic Canadiana experience has lost its spot these days. The flashy miami bling bling style seems to be swathing over. Ya know, whatever makes you look richer in pics on social media type junk. The classic Canadian experience doesnt play that role well. It sure does play well to anyone who gets a real taste of it personally though. Look at what Lisa Rinas father in law accomplished with lake Joe
  8. 4lbs? I wonder what the head lifting limit is? Im sure I wont have to wonder long. Someone will do it, its a guarantee. While Polaris will melt down before its limit is reached the Rotax will lift heads. How do I know? Ethanol injection makes latent heat evaporation during atomization. In laymens terms it makes the fuel charge denser, while lowering temperatures. It also has octane of 110 or so, but its really the latent heat evaporation that makes it amazing under boost. Water inj sort of does the same thing its old as moses in the gofast car world its nothing new. The fact that BRP made all this hi-tech racer mod stuff factory equipment blows my mind. The modders are going to whip sidewinders for breakfast lunch and dinner with these things. Two huge thumbs up
  9. And the award for the heart of Gold goes to; WildBill. A true blue gentleman here folks, what a rare treasure. Incredible story thanks for sharing. With such a strong, resilient, and positive attitude you have all the odds in your favour. You and your family are in our prayers
  10. Screw sled permits. Rider permits are the way to go just like plate to owner days its a zillion times better. Rider buys permit and rides whatever sled he wants. Same with insurance, insure the rider not the machine save for fire/theft/collision
  11. I was out of line, this was not the thread for this. Feel free to edit it all out other than the initial post
  12. I cant say much either, it will boil my blood. Trudeau is a classless Idiot, whos morally bankrupt
  13. As for gas maybe the OFSC could start looking into Card Lock type filling stations? Priced accordingly of course and premium fuel only of course and NO ETHANOL of course. Might be a way to keep that run open?
  14. Wont happen. Same crap happened at Friday harbour the developers sued the local landowners for legal costs who took legal action to stop the development. Take Adamson case and fees he would be WISE to not ignore the paperwork and simply fight it out. He will win we do not have a police system that works for some for "free" and others who must "pay" If that were the case how about billing all those G20 protesters
  15. Say what you want about me, its rather interesting that all of you cant get my comments out of your head, even if they are blocked? Maybe you ought to think about that a while and see if you can make sense of it. Stay safe everyone. Trudeau has failed Canada on epic levels, only completely lost people wont admit that now.
  16. Automobiles are subsidized. Boats and sleds are not. The value of "toys" is high because since Mcsquinty/Wynnebag and Trudope have put our credit into such bad shape our purchasing power is now about 50% and dropping fast of what it was ten years ago. This is only the beginning.... hold my beer Its gonna get fugly soon
  17. Great looking sled! Launch control with no traction control? That aint launch control thats a stutter box. Take a GTR for a spin, thats launch control.
  18. Right I was wondering about pump gas and reliability and also curious how much hp was gained.
  19. Turbo Doo did you get yours performance tuned?
  20. We already PAY POLICE to protect and serve. They are bound by oath to investigate crimes reported and theft is MAJOR CRIME. But that would involve effort, effort that doesnt involve zooming around on sleds or helicopters or boats playing badass. To be crystal clear here, the CORE issue is political problems that have been driven by the lefty policy swinging wayyyyy too far out. The OPP openly campaigned for relecting Kathleen Wynne which is ILLEGAL and hardly a person made a peep and the OPP was blatant that it was about raises for them and screw everyone else. I guess? Well now look at what is happening to the police? If you think their political support to LUNATICS is not the big teeth now biting them in the ars? Your fooling yourselves. Teachers, Fire Fighters, and on and on and on its coming for all of you people ( pun intended ) You simply cannot work with people whos political goals are to keep moving the goal post every time you get near. This is PRECISELY what Trudope and ALL of todays Liberals are doing and the NDP wants to go even harder with their great leap BS. I know some of you here likely hate me for pointing this stuff out in previous discussions I remember the "shut him down" crap. Remember, Im posting this FOR YOU because if your Canadian? I want the BEST for you and todays liberals and NDP are the worst of the three.
  21. Police Helicopters chasing snowmobilers who might be speeding? Not my tax dollars thank you. Have you seen the base salary for police these days? Real crime is up, complaints against police are up and has been moving upwards for years. If your unfortunate enough to suffer a crime the police rarely show up. Most of the calls to police are domestic issues and their track record has been pretty awful for deescalating mental health related problems. While this left wing defund the police NONSENSE is literally just that, your fooling yourselves if you dont see changes to the current policing budgets and methods coming, and coming BIG
  22. Stupid is as stupid does. Thankfully stupidity cannot be ignored forever, we have to speak the truth regardless of those who want to shut us down and ride out this mess. Theres a quote I think applies here; “1. Hard times create strong men. 2. Strong men create good times. 3. Good times create weak men. And, 4. weak men create hard times.” We are in stage 4 right now. The humor is watching some people openly scream and shout down at people like me, try to shut anyone who speaks truth and cancel them for speaking against it. Yep, thats gonna look good on ya in 20 years there, good luck with that
