  1. I still remember my grandmother telling me why she would reuse milk bags instead of just throwing them away when I was young. Shame my kids can't hear these stories first hand but we do our best to let them know how good they have it.
  2. I'm thinking they'll still do curbside pickup or just cut down on customers allowed in the stores. Wife us bitching at me about getting our back splash done
  3. World juniors is ridiculous due to the international travel. The nhl is doing a Canadian division so no border crossing, personally I'm fine with this.
  4. The OPP here in wasaga finally setup a checkpoint turning people around for some stupid car gathering. Happy to see my tax dollars used for something for once
  5. I put my sled for sale at a high price due to the strong resale market but if it doesn't sell I'll be doing day trips only. Usual sled partners have been leary of making plans. Usually we have a boys weekend but the host has some health issues so doesn't want to commit due to covid. Going to be an unpredictable winter I guess, not that we all aren't used to that by now!
  6. Stopped now, supposedly more coming tonight. Perfect fort/snowman snow for the kids snow day.
  7. I think everything was mechanical reverese until early 2000's if I'm remembering correctly.
  8. I beleive the formula 3 was a triple Interesting, my dad had a 583 and it was way better
  9. We got about 5" overnight and still coming down.
  10. Once you get it going your wallet will be much happier not feeding that triple anyways! I had one as my first sled, it was a pig. Where are you riding from?
  11. I bought one last year and its easy to load, I find it easier to pull it off rather then reverse under power. It fits fine beside the sled on my 6 1/2ft box when sled is loaded and folds into 1/3 it's width. I throw a sheet of 3/8 plywood in the back to protect the bed. I'd pay full price for it, but as usual with crappy tire I'm sure it will go on sale soon.
  12. I got mine today even though I didn't buy a permit so far this year.
  13. Think $35 but you have to buy 2 days at a time.
  14. You guys just made me realize mine our a month expired. Usually get the notice and buy online right away so figured I was good for another year.
  15. I appreciated your advice, that's why I'm looking at a method to use while running vs just pouring anti freeze in.
  16. Check this out, I'm thinking I'm going to try it this year. No worries about stat being closed. Think I would drain after running it through. https://www.amazon.ca/Camco-65501-Yourself-Boat-Winterizer/dp/B0000AXQU2/ref=gp_aw_ybh_a_9?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=HHCFYEPZPZW74YYXPRB5
  17. That's a horrible idea as methanol is very corrosive to aluminum/cast iron. The rv anti freeze is no toxic anyways....
  18. I now have twin 4.3l's so I'm thinking instead of doing plc's method for winterizing I'm going to invest in a system to pump antifreeze to save time. I've also heard not to reinstall the hoses as leaving them off allows water to evaporate if there is still some. New longblock is $2600 doing it yourself, so worth the day to do properly for sure
  19. Not everyone feels the need to spend 15g's on a sled every few years. I doubt the savings on a permit factors into that decision.
  20. And you think an ofsc version would be better?
  21. I'm thinking this year I'll wait until November to see what impact covid will have.
  22. There's already a government app for that if it interests you.
