  1. I like your way of thinking, Terry. THETORCHES FOR PREMIERE ! !
  2. I don't know. "I had a good workout today. Sledding's my exercise of choice, and the trails are closed around my house." Not sure how convincing that sounded. Still true, though.
  3. A nicely matched pair. Thanks for the info. Might do that run from the other end tomorrow
  4. Now we know she's alive and breathing well.
  5. There are a few 201's out there......Orillia 201, Bonfield 201....
  6. I see your point, but along with the province-wide rules and recommendations, the daily covid stats continue to show wide variations between PHU's.
  7. Sidewinder for the big guy?
  8. If you look out from the place where Trail B traverses the west shore of Couchiching (i.e. Holcroft Road), you will see tons of sled tracks on the ice, going out as far as the eye can see.
  9. I've been there in the spring a few times, after the local ofsc trails were closed (ie late March and early April). On those occasions, the forest had a well established smooth base that allowed for some brisk riding speeds.
  10. 04nightfire: I rode that Sunday, and again a few minutes ago. The road detour is still bearable, but we need more snow. Going to be hard on carbides in a day or two. The rail bed snow also gets thinner each day, but is still pretty good to Waubaushene. There's a foot-deep waterhole on the west side of Coldwater. ODSC is doing the best they can under the circumstances. I stopped along the road and talked to a guy working on the trail repair. He said they've run into some surprises, and the work is taking longer than scheduled.

    Helmets.

I've been happy with a XXXL BRP Modular 3 Electric for the past 23,000 kms. The first thing I did was remove the breath evac mask system. I ride with the electric shield plugged in 99% of the time. The only issue seems to be that I have to tighten the visor side screws every couple of rides. I tried to like the Oxygen, but it's a full face helmet that made me feel claustrophobic.
  14. From what I can tell, snow receded, but has returned to a similar level.
  15. That's a fine piece of planning and execution, led by Du Ya Wanna Club President, Del Snyder.
