  1. Hoping to do RAP on Tues. I see only part still red is Big Hawk through Kennesis and Redstone. Anyone with any idea on ice conditions here?
  2. Ran the B from Redstone Lake(Hal 11) to Whitney and back yesterday. Was groomed Friday night. Our group was first on it yesterday morning. Tabletop condition really surprising for this time of year.
  3. I’m on Redstone Lake. Fishing yesterday. Any holes I cut was at least 8 inches. The majority of the lake have been covered for two weeks. This past Tuesday morning the open areas in the main lake finally tightened up. A good 8 inches on the ground plus a couple more yesterday. No doubt HCSA will be packing soon. Lakes will be staked soon I imagine. Last year Big Red never froze over till Jan 25
  4. I ordered 2022 Skidoo Mach Z. Getting ready for launch mode! My son ordered a 2022 Polaris Assault 850 loaded. Should be awesome.
  5. Awesome 2 days of terrific riding. Polar bears know how to do it right. You forget till you get to Cochrane just how good the riding is. Wicked trip Monday up the Canyon east side and down piston alley. My son got a private back country tour with Mike which was really cool. Tuesday Kap and back with lunch at Chuck's who were really sledder friendly. Side trip on L105 to Calhoun tower was worth the 20k in and out. Overall an incredible trip. Memories made with my boy that will be around a lot longer than me.
  6. Headed up this morning. 3 nights at Best Western. Father/Son trip. Going to see Mike and Joe tomorrow. A trail to Kap/Hearst and back. I know its gonna be jammed up there but super excited to finally get a north corridor run in. Really appreciate the trail update thanks
  7. Ran it last Friday. It is groomed from T b106e. Absolutely mint. Best shape I've seen it in years.
  8. Ran it on Tuesday. Main track was beat down like the 401. Was open through the narrows on south end. More sketchy on west side of islands. Lots of fish huts out.
  9. Rode it this morning table top highway awesome!
  10. Just curious if this trail will be available this year. Not sure if the Whitney end of the trail is in the Renfrew Health Unit Area. If so probably not. Anyone with any info. One of my favorite trails by my cottage. Thanks in advance.
