  1. Why did Don sell ? Seen him on Kawagama tv and seemed like it was his passion.
  2. No problem I will get you measurements with pics. Just curious how come you are not going with the linq system, isn’t the tunnels on the ski doo’s already set up for the linq brackets ?
  3. Honestly I haven’t used it when fully expanded yet only used the bag at its smallest size/unexpanded, specs say it’s 8-22L. At it’s smallest size it still has a fair amount of room, I can easily fit a spare belt, extra gloves, extra set of titan heated googles which are in a 509 google hard case which is the size of a Kleenex box, rubber hammer, tool pouch, snacks, drinks and there’s still room to spare. Original I was gonna go the linq route as it’s a tested and proven product but I wanted the fuel/bag combo and for me the stackable doo fuel caddy is a bit big for me. I’ve pushed my sled to where I’ve ran out of gas just a few feet from the pumps at 220km so I figured with the 6L roto pac I can get another 30-35 km range, with the fuel and bag installed it keeps the weight on the tunnel within reason. If you like I can give you the exact measurements over the weekend ?
  4. Great news.. Hopefully I’m wrong but it’s looking like another s**t show coming for this season, Covid case’s are raising again daily which means they are gonna put indoor restrictions again, add sledders who haven’t gotten vaccinated to the mix who can’t dine inside for a quick bite and here we go again. Like I said I really hope I’m wrong as it’s a great place to sled and I definitely miss riding there. Hats off to all who got halfway to keep the doors open..
  5. Thanks for the pics.. definitely on my bucket list. My sister in law family lives just south of their, the land scape is stunning around mount valin especially going east from their.
  6. I used the kimpex system all last year without problems but 90% of the time I was just using the bag, last trip of the year I had both on and worked out good. One thing though the instructions are wrong on the hole spacing, luckily I mounted mine on a piece of plywood wood to make sure how it all went together and sure enough the whole spacing is to wide which will cause the bad or fuel can to wiggle a bit.
  7. What a joke it is. I won’t name places but lately I’ve been to box stores where you can’t get into the isle because of the crowds and I’ve been working in areas of T.O where the streets are crammed with un masked people and I mean crowds and all is good but they still keep canceling things. If this year sledding season goes anything like last years bs about staying in your own health unit than something is definitely wrong.
  8. You will be surprised what a heated seat does, layers help but there’s no substitute to heat. I was also a non believe till my sled came with one and I’m pretty sure it’s no different than the gears one which are both made in China lol but it works awesome especially in northern Ontario on those crisp -20 -30 mornings.
  9. Well said TD, I’m with you as I also think Dub had a reason more than just low snow to keep the trails closed.
  10. Disappointed to read this, I’ll definitely miss that area if it’s an end to halfway.
  11. Definitely sucks when seasons come to an end but the memories this sport makes will last forever.. Thanks to all who made this year possible.. Hope everyone has a great summer..
  12. Thanks.. I’ve never personally owned a Ranger but been on a few over the years and yes they are a awesome boat. My 20’ Princecraft has served me well but it was time.
  13. Thanks.. I know I kinda went off topic with this.. I do love snowmobiling and everyone who is involved in bringing this great sport together but my true passion is chasing fish. Cant wait to hear the feedback on the new 900 T r’s that some of you are ordering.
  14. Patiently waiting for this beauty to come in..
  15. Another great trip in the books..
  16. Going to be a long summer thinking about when I can hit this trail again.
  17. It was nice meeting you, Mrs Turbo Doo and your father in law .. Ill keep my opinion on Wendy to myself for now.
  18. Well said Stoney.. no sled is perfect, my first sled was a skidoo blizzard followed by a formula 3 than switched to Yamaha for the longest time and now on my 2nd year on a sidewinder. I say it the way it is, the SW has 2 major design flaws in the drive line which I addressed before even riding it, so far so good. Got it tuned over the summer but honestly I think it wasn’t needed especially riding areas like dis 9 it can be hard on the arms holding on all day. I to would like to see cat step it up like doo did but it’s not looking good.
  19. Agree 100% on that, Yamaha fell asleep years ago and by the 2022 cat release it seems like they also fell asleep.. it’s kinda sad as some competition is good for all manufacturers..
  20. .. I’m also looking forward to it
  21. Yes we are. I don’t know anything about Friday night in Hearst .
  22. It baffles me how so many people won’t touch a suspension setting because they think the pdi kid at the dealer just graduated suspension school ..
