You do use northern ontario roads. The commercial vehicles moving products you need use these roads, without the roads you see empty shelves. There 90% trucks running on northern ontario roads, very few personal vehicles. Last mont BC had all roads into the lower mainland shut down, they went into a state of emergency.

Heading up to massey area soon. My bud asked if his brother could tag along, I said sure, he lives in sudbury. Yesterday my buddy calls me, tells me his brother was out riding on closed trails with no permit. I told him he is not welcome to ride with us. We all must refuse to ride with idiots. We are taking 3 weeks off to ride from Jan 19 through Feb 10th. Will be in northern Ontario based in Massey.

Perhaps a law is needed. If you know me I hate more regulation, BUT, at times it makes sense. How about no more than 60 hp until you have five seasons under your belt as a youth. 60 hp can still get a kid into trouble, but no where near as quickly as can 150 hp. I do understand some kids 16 years old can and do handle high power with no issues, but we are on trails with a 50kmh limit, 70 in QC, so in reality, 100kmh is more than enough top end speed for any kid. Heck, I could have a great day on a 600 ace.

I think we pay about 180 per sled with all state. 3 cars, 3 sleds 2 bikes, 2 trailers, and the home. All together it is getting a little steep. We got the kid a new car for Xmas so that added 2500 to the bill.

I know a guy with one. Lives on agnew lake road in webbwood. Thing is a true go anywhere beast. He uses it all time. Takes you places no other vehicle can get to the Argo just gets to watch.

I am not surprised that orders are behind. The sad part is the fact it is a short window to use a sled. Some people are going to need to be compensated in some way for losing the season to a delayed delivery. I doubt we will see any manu do so. I guess the lesson here, do not sell the old sled until the new one arrives, but is this going to continue or will we see things return to normal? My guess is we will see less product costing more money. Here is hoping you all get a surprise call very soon.

Only the government can make a vaccine mandate. You are confusing the info. It is referring to those under the current mandate, and those under any future mandates. A company cannot mandate its workers be vaccinated unless the government has implemented a mandate forcing them to do so. So if the company decides on its own to change the conditions of employment they then have breached their contract and would be open to getting sued. Make no mistake, this issue is or may directly effect me and I have spoken with legal counsel to determine my rights as an unvaccinated worker whom will not be bullied into an injection that has proven not to work and long term effects are not known. Make no mistake, you cannot force vaccines on employees without the government doing it. Trucking is federally regulated. Trudeau wanted to force vaccines when he did so for ships and airlines. However he did not due to massive pushback in the industry and fear of supply chain disruptions. Now he is once again talking about it, and once again the trucking associations are pushing back. The USA is mandating it to enter next month. If you cross the border as part of your terms of employment you then will be forced to get vaccinated or quit with no legal recourse, however, if you were hired to run a Canadian lane, you cannot be forced, even if a Canadian company refuses to allow you to deliver. Now, the guy that has fired people has done so illegally but most likely is a contract full load carrier for his client that is refusing unvaccinated drivers. He most likely has weighed his options and if he is sued, the cost to settle is far less than the loss of a contract. Being many fail to understand the laws, and even fewer consult legal counsel, most likely rthose drivers will simply go work elsewhere and most likely for better pay because of the massive labour shortage. Losing a job in this industry is tantamount to a week off before you are working again. It is hardly disruptive in one's life. The carriers need the driver more than the driver needs the carrier.

No they are not. UNLESS THEY CROSS THE BORDER. The reason is simple. They have zero authority to do so. In other words, only if you were hired to cross the border as part of your job description can they legally mandate you get vaxed.
