  1. Lots of both style of groomers not likely to be used again this year in the south.
  2. The NDSC trails were open and awesome on the 13th and 14th of this month before the rain/freeze/new snow of the 15th to the 17th. The only one we weren't on was NB308.
  3. Has the District gone to bat for you with the OFSC? It is their job to do so and continue to pressure the OFSC if they can't find a groomer for you to use from within your district. Personally, I would like to know this has happened before going any further.
  4. Nice looking trailers made in Listowel, Ontario
  5. I read on the Timmins FB page that there is a big washout that requires new culverts to be installed. They are working at it and will have it open ASAP but getting new culverts and getting them installed is a big undertaking for a small club with few volunteers.
  6. We parked there for a week one time but that was about 20 years ago.
  7. I can see the trail (L27) that you leave to go up the hill into the parking lot being the clubs responsibility but the goat path up the hill is not properly staked or signed so there is no way in my opinion that it is a trail the local club is responsible for. If we are talking about the same goat path it goes up into the Casey's restaurant parking lot from trail L27. I don't believe the club would want a groomer to go up there. BTW trail L27 is shown green on the ITG today.
  8. In an 8' x 12 as you mentioned above the only way you could possibly do it is with one backed in. Then your tongue weight would be very light.
  9. How many sleds can you get in the 8 foot by 12?
  10. That's now changed according to our local CTV Scan weather report and TWN. CTV now says 5-10cm and TWN says 4-8cm for Kitchener. Then the rain and freezing rain on top of it.
  11. That is not true! If it was there would be no trails open. Do you really think that trails are intentionally kept closed after all the VOLUNTEER work has been put into them?
  12. Bluewater has one for $13,705.00 Two Wheel in Guelph has one for $14,405.00 They may have different options.
  13. I believe it's their District office's issue to find a replacement.
  14. I remember the 90's to. Indy's with a Fuji triple that every other manufacturer only wished they could have. I had a 94 XLT that I put 12,000 miles on and the only thing ever got repaired on the engine was the recoil. Most reliable sled I ever owned.
  15. St. Clements closed their trails at 5PM. Worn right down into the wheat on one field.
  16. There was no response of any type from you in 5 days since last post by someone trying to help you with your question. That's very unusual on this forum.
  17. I wonder if he even read the responses to his question?????
  18. I don't know about other clubs but its 4 degrees here and I can see a brownish tinge on the trail already. Still lots of sleds out and about.
  19. you have likely already looked at the map but if not here is a link: https://ofsc.evtrails.com/# Lots of loops in that area. Dunlop Lake Lodge is a good place to stay.
  20. Trout Lake and Talon are now yellow on the ITG Brian. There has been about 800-1000 km. of trail opening per day over the last week.
  21. Was it OFSC money that built and repaired the highly visible bridges or was it Ontario Government money? I'm pretty sure they were built and the Pickerel update were with gov't money funneled through the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation. If they already haven't done so , maybe District 12 and the OFSC need to go after that funding source or another available gov't fund to get the money to fix it. Welcome to the forum!
  22. I'm sure Chapleau is having the same issue with clearing the trails.
  23. Timmins will have their section of the C101D open very shortly. They made a deal with the Mallett Lumber Company to use one of their roads for a temporary trail this year and are just clearing it of downed trees and getting it ready to open.
