Jeff Evans
Hello folks. Just joined this site. Two years ago I bought a 2014 el tigre 6000 40 years after buying my last sled (a 1974 el tigre 295). Back then it was short daily rides around Victoria Harbour as a teenager. Now it's multi-day touring with my buddies wherever we drag the trailers. Best thing I did getting back into sledding!

soupkids
I'm betting the new cat rides a whole lot better than the old one.

Amazing what a difference 4 decades of engineering makes. As a teenager, a 200k run in 1974 would leave me aching. Now I'm much older and out of shape but the new cat makes up for all of my sins. Now a days a 20 k run on the old sled and old trails would leave most of us aching

catinental couch
I wouldn't have a problem with it on my 1977 but the 1971 sleds would be a different answer.
