maverick
Have to take the sled in for the break-in inspection. Just wondered if anyone could recommend the "better" BRP dealership(s) in the GTA area. Re: customer service; turn arount time; pricing; technical expertise; etc. The sled comes from George's Marine in Ottawa. Thanks

Domino
There is no such thing in the GTA. BRP has been eliminating the good dealers in favour of the high volume dealers.

Anyone have experience with Brampton Powersports? I called them when looking to buy the sled and they didn't even follow up with me; in fact they didn't even answer the phone (no machine nothing!) - so I went elsewhere. They are the closest though. maverick
thanks for all responses went with Larry's: good service; fast turn around time (2 days); cost less than expected; sled seems fine; definitely will go back. Cheers
41C
I am overdue for my 10hr as well. I hit 20hrs on Friday. I plan to drop it off tomorrow. Going to try Bennett's and hope for a quick turnaround. It's a 5-6 week season and whoever I call can't commit they will have it done in less than a week. If this takes a full week it will be the last time I pay someone for regular service. I would do it myself but the 10hr calls for a chaincase oil change. Not a convienent task and my sole motivator for paying someone else.
maverick
Bennett's was my second choice - they promised a 2 day turn around time too - good luck with them; ya I wasn't keen on losing the sled for a week or more when the work only takes 1.5 hours (apparently) and we are in the prime riding season. blue er
Well all my brp friends seem to like bennets in whitby. As for hb in cameron/lindsay they have somenreal good techs there as well
jedanr
Machine Racing just past Newmarket at Woodbine and Green Lane. I purchased and serviced with them. Found them to provide excellent turnaround time and good service. Unfortunately this is one of good guys that is losing their BRP dealer status as they were never a full line dealer. His brothers were working in the family business as well. You don't stay in business as long as they have done without doing something right. When it's your name over the door it tends to make a difference. Anyone know if Ted Sr. is still around.

He is certainly still around! That man is one of a kind! He has handed the reins over to the next generation and I think they are doing a great job. They all grew up around the business and run it as close as they can in todays world...
speedy
I have always found Quinns service quick and friendly. I have inquired at Bennetts but their prices were way higher than Quinns and for service the guy that occupies the stool just gives you attitude about not having bought the sleds there. Not sure how they stay in business frankly with their attitude.
