    • Could also just run leaner with less trails to ride and out this economic storm. A good snow season should help permit sales going forward, and the sport in general. Some people are thinking like the folks at Yamaha, others like the new folks running Arctic Cat.   I'm heading into town to spend $80-$90 on a bag of grocery items that cost me about $50 last year 👌

    • This was just posted on Facebook by Carling Trail Blazers   BREAKING NEWS:   It deeply saddens us that we have to let you know we have officially lost access to the trail between Oakridge Road and the fitness trail and therefore, the majority of Parry Sound. We are heartbroken for the businesses that are supported by snowmobilers, the locals who use that trail to access the system, and even the general parry sound public who are able to use the fitness trail in the winter because we maintained it, at no cost to the town. Brad has spent countless hours exhausting all avenues but we have come to the end of the road, and we cannot do anything about it, nor is there a way around the particular land owner to access it another way.    What does this mean? - Boston Pizza, Trestle, Henry’s, Legends, Tailwinds, etc including all other town amenities, attractions and supporters will not be accessible from our trail system. -Locals and tourists that normally depart from town to head north will no longer be able to do so. - Our trails are no longer connected to South Seguin snowmobile club at all as they had to unfortunately give up the C Trail aka the mountain trail for this coming season. - We had removed the trail to the north end of town (Trappers, CT gas bar, the mall etc) off of our map to satisfy trail removal requirements from the OFSC, we will now work to have it re-added - To our knowledge, the fitness trail will not be maintained during the winter months and may not be passable for walkers, etc. Again, we are so deeply sorry to all of you that this affects. It saddens us for you, and also for ourselves— we really enjoyed riding to town for dinner with our family and supporting the ones who support us and giving back to the town. Please please support these businesses that will be affected as best you can. As a reminder, there is a restaurant in Pointe Au Baril that is accessible through our trail system, and we are hoping to be able to access the north end of town as well.    Please know a lot of time and effort was put into this. We reached out to local council members to help mediate and even with their help we were not able to resolve the issues. We did everything we can and as of now as there is no viable or realistic option for this coming season. Being stuck between Georgian Bay and the train tracks really limits our options for a reroute and even if we were able to obtain land use agreements for the future we would need a large amount of funding to create a new trail as well as support from the town to obtain a private rail crossing that are nearly impossible to obtain now a days. At the end of the day, we all have to respect the property owners choice and hope we can find a resolution in the near future.   Thanks again to everyone who has and continued to support us. We will keep pushing through and trying our best to give you the best trails possible!!     https://www.facebook.com/share/p/183vJ8vDTP/
    • I was there today with my son to get his G1. The place reeked. I had to switch seats because of the BO around me.
    • funny enough, went to the service Ontario place to renew truck and sled sticker....come to think of it, I should have asked if I could of bought sled permit actually..... lol Anyways, they have this new check in system, you need to tap a screen pad to tell it why you are there, number of renewals, etc...to get a print out with ticket & wicket number, meanwhile two of the wickets are empty with staff there who had to tell me about this new system to check in with so they could look after me - I ask them why this system, what was the point of that and they laugh, tell me to check with the government.....
