    • OFSC has no interest in south side of Lake Simcoe from south end of Orillia down.   How else do they explain just dropping Carden trails with no explanation last year?  And most of these trails were easy access on road allowances.  With township permissions signed      Now they put Beaverton Pefferlaw and Uxbridge off the map?   Cuts or not you can’t drop towns and lake access trails.   A Beaverton or Pefferlaw trail to lake Simcoe allowed riders to run up to Simcoe ant then by lake loop up or further to Brechin trails (gone last year) or further to Orillia trails or west across to Barrie.  These were not just dead end trails they were main feeders both ways.   There are a fair number of permits lost now I would say.
    • It’s been a while since I used mine but I don’t recall the battery issue, I had two batteries and for what I recorded for the day, they worked.  maybe different models had weaker batteries or drew more power than other models.
    • With our club we lost all our trails that lead to our main feeder trail. No trail to Beverton, Pefferlaw and Uxbridge. We said no to giving up any trails. District insisted we equally give up trails or trails will be taken without our say. Either way OFSC and district made the decision as these trails were dead end trails. We were very close to looping trails for local riding but not happening now.
    • Let’s just hope Orillia is able to adopt the Carden trails and newly formed Kirkfield Sno alliance.
    • I used it regularly. It has two issues for long trip you start feel additional weight and result neck pain and second the battery dies after 5 min if lower -10C. So I made a tiny hole in case for charging cables to charge on demand
