We're booked in there for the 1st night of our trip in Feb'. Hopefully no "issues" arise during our stay.

Hey Freddy, here's a thread from the Lodging Forum for you to have a look at. Mixed reviews :

WOW :o:o:o after reading that link I'll have to really think about it. I'm not sure if I have ever seen this many unfavorable comments on any one place on OC. Really makes you wonder :wtf::wtf::wtf:

Stayed there last March... it was the coolest place we stayed. Nice, clean rooms... good food and the owners are great people. I'm terrible with names :banghead:

Here's some pics of the lodge... Dinner and breakfast was served Bed&Breakfast style... we were there mid-week and were the only 3 there.

Beware... no telephone (landline) and no cell service for 1/2 day in and 1/2 day out.

I wish I could shed more light on our visit because it is a beautiful spot.. I don't know...The lodge was very cold both for supper that night and breaky the next. Mood went from very friendly to as cold as the room. I am thinking it was their version of humour but it certainly wasn't very well received.

When you see hand written signs on the TV in the lodge that state "Do not touch", you wonder. When you ask for a beer and then get asked if you're going out to tear up the property afterwards, you wonder..

I just don't know?????? :wtf::wtf::wtf:

I was told recently that Post 392 is no longer open for business. Can't remember where I heard it. Too bad if its true as it was a nice place with totally awesome food.

PLC. When you call Post 392 pls update us with their status. Post saying 'I heard recently" can be dangerous to someone's business if not confirmed..

Thanks

I would try to call them.

Some businesses think of their email/website as a technology just slightly better than smoke signals. Websites w/ outdated email addresses don't help much.

We ordered them (escargot)... told my buddy they were "stuffed mushroom caps"... :rotflmao:

so he ate them... THEN we told him what they were... :puke:

With friends like that, who needs enemies??

Yup. About the same time the granola munching bicycle riders with the nipple rings arrived with the queers lite. And every other lite something or other. Bud light. Blue lite. Anything lite. Hey, it's not lite enough; stick a lime it in too ! Jeez Louise !

But then there are still some guys that like to have a beer once in a while. :P :poke: :P
