I hope to see some yellow or green over the weekend as well for Redstone and Kennesis Lakes. We are planning the RAP as well starting on Monday going counter clockwise from Wilberforce area.

Kennisis is all staked, over 100 stakes.  Lake is very slushy in some parts.

Was that you that sink your wife’s sled maybe 8 years ago a few hundred feet from cottage?

Nope, she would divorce me if I ever sunk her sled.

Is Redstone lake staked ?

It wasn't on the weekend, people have been riding it for 3 weeks though.

My buddy on Redstone is surprised it hasn't been staked yet, not sure if it's a volunteer thing or if HCSA doesn't think it's safe.

I think they are waiting on hailburton lake. Most are riding E out now anyways.  Without hailburton makes little sense to stake redstone I think is why. With weather doubt either will be staked this year now. Makes little sense for a few weeks of riding.

Had to check this thread out as I read "Red Stone" and "staked"....

But it is Red Rock that I was thinking of.

They run from Rossport to Red Rock over the ice, but I doubt anyone is ever staking that.

That is prolly at least 25 klicks and very little traffic.

(South of Nipigon)

Ya I think you are probably right, everyone is running Haliburton Lk though.  2 other ways to get to the Hydro Lines without using Redstone also.

Honestly not sure, maybe because Redstone isn't staked??.
