stoney Posted February 8, 2019 Share Posted February 8, 2019 Sounds like they are looking for some "packing" volunteers! We encountered a very similar problem many years ago on a Northern ON trip, a ton of snow fell in a short period, some of the guys were getting stuck on every corner, at first it was fun digging them out, then it got to be not so fun as the temps starting to drop later in the day and we were now damp from sweating & no where near our next destination. Other issue was not knowing where the trail was as the markers were now covered up....we ended up running into a guy having some fun in the deep and he asked if we knew where we were as this was no where near the trail, so turned back to retrace our steps.....GPS would have been nice!
