Good point. Makes sense. The windshield did indeed cover up the wife, inhibiting her rescue on the first 2 dives.

If its an older cat it doesn't have a roof hatch.

In fact many older units of any kind don't have a roof hatch.

Hey old man I don't know if you talk to that Nunz guy but he had a 1 year old Polaris that had catastrophic failures. Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock.

Do have one suggestion though. Take a day this summer. Put your boots and floater suit on and check out your floatation and maneuverability in the water.

The main thing to remember is to be aware and prepared for these situations. This is a learning experience for all of us who ride on ice. I am very glad it all worked out and nobody died.
