Won't even chance a guess. With snow one day and rain another...it's such a crapshoot. The ground is not frozen again sufficiently. There will be a lot of water in the back woods trails that will make busting open trails tough and messy.

Maybe the B103 from Haliburton down past Kinmount or so by Dec 29th. It's all rail line, no water.

Better be good by Jan 20th, since I will be up for a week, if no snow in d5 or 9 again.

I lookforward to riding in hcsa poker run this year. I have done the forest one for the last three years. I thought you avoided these events to seek smoother trails????

While not a fan myself of poker runs...it's an important fundraiser for the club. given two back to back Winters where poor permit sales have hurt.

That's one of the reasons I am sticking with Wasaga area. An awful lot of sand so the ground drains real quick.

Upside of idling is, the batteries will stay charged.
