  2. There was 2 OPP, one doing radar and other guy basically checking paperwork. Couple of Forest guys assisting. When she got pulled over there was already 12 sleds ahead of her waiting. Her Mother didn't like advice I gave her if that happens next time. lol
  3. Main Trails are pretty good but get beat down by the afternoon. It's very busy in there as well. Side trails need more snow OPP were in there last week pretty much pulling everybody over, my daughter got a speeding ticket for doing 70k
  4. Spent the day with a buddy Saturday clearing a trail. Full day to do 10kms.
  5. Havelock Loop, it's fairly new. No idea why. I remember when I was very young on my unstuded Phaser trying to go up to the Lookout, pure ice and slid backwards 20 ft right into my old mans new sled. Great times. lol
  6. My daughters were in there yesterday as well, said the trails were pretty good. I usually enjoy the side trails better, unfortunately one of my favorite little loops will not be opening this year.
  7. Actually we were about 15 mins ahead of him, he was trying to catch up. A good brother would have turned around to warn him
  8. Thats awesome to hear, been stopped there twice. Never have had a problem, brother got a speeding ticket though
  9. I would wait until next weekend. Calling for snow pretty much all week. Thin base as of now A few sleds in there yesterday.
  10. I would head towards Tall Pine trails, they do a great job!. Trail 64, 65 and do the 66 loop (hopefully open this year) Towards Whitney is a great ride also if it's groomed with nice scenery.
  11. Been reading about this. Didnt realize who it was. Very sad situation. Sounds like the mom did a great job trying to get the dogs to stop. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family
  12. Northern Haliburton today. At the cottage enjoying March Break

  16. I was on it a few times this weekend. Was in good shape. Kennisis is bumpy but should be better with this snow.
  17. Was on that trail today . It was very rough.
  18. You could be right. Port Perry going East just opened to limited as well as Ganaraska so I just guessed he meant now.
  19. The trails are not open to go that way, a sled went threw scugog just the other day. Still some very thin ice out there
