  1. Try Urban Sport in Calabogie. Sorry don't have number handy. Only ones in the area I can think of. Probably close to an hour away from Pembroke though. They rent Yamaha.
  2. Not positive if this is the cause, but a Groomer burnt Friday the 7th in that area. https://m.facebook.com/SnowCountryDistrict6/#!/photo.php?fbid=1111425039249359&id=100011456209352&set=gm.2521554381439759&source=48&__tn__=EHH-R
  3. Ok, maybe not quite, but look at the horsepower associated with it. LOL
  4. L or R. B could be cool if done just right.
  5. This is an ice crossing to my knowledge. Not sure the exact reason to its closure. The decked railway bridge is at the end of the B101Q, and is open.
  6. Where you coming from and when Spaceman?
  7. Nothing happened in Pakenham area until around 11:30 this morning. Have had mixing of rain, sleet, snow but currently just rain. Crap.
  8. We tried that one time. Got started out ok, but got caught with heavy wet snow before KL. Made for a very, very long and miserable ride, had to shut it down in Kap. I haven't been the same since,LOL.
  9. As unfortunate as this is, there are many volunteers who have spent many, many hours, days and weeks getting ready for the season, and also have to buy their passes. How do you think they feel?
  10. Drop tab top left corner. On my phone anyway.
  11. Yukon, i know you are very involved in your club and snowmobiling in general, and are respected here, and by me as well. I agree with taking the trails off of the ITG as well, but more for the touring riders planning a trip. Won't do much if anything to prevent many of the locals who know where the trail is/goes to, unfortunately, and seemingly don't give a crap or play stupid, claiming that they didn't know. Even as they managed to get past a closed gate or two. At least that's what I have seen.
  12. Well it's obvious that the trail was put in the wrong spot. (Sarcasm on). Maybe next season, the ones who know where the trail "should be", can put the pickets in, after they kiss the landowners backside while begging for permission. Funny, you put in a corner, quite likely for making the gradual turn with the groomer, but they find a way to straighten it. Yet give them the straightest line and they go off trail. I dunno.
  13. You would think so, but apparently not.
  14. We had trail from 17/18 come up on the ITG in 18/19 season that we were not using or signing. Our request to have it removed from the ITG was to take 30 days, which sounded crazy in the first place, it did not happen.
  15. Not just in D12 Soup. Sad to think, that after all the crap that the volunteers have go through to get trails available, brushing, signing, meeting landowners, club meetings and then go brushing again after heavy snow/ice storms, all the while using their own trucks, trailers, quads or sleds, saws, fuel for all the above, all out of their pockets (at least for me and the guys I volunteer with) that this BS with the insurance/permission wasn't looked into months ago. They screwed this up in '16, and got a bunch of trails closed down for awhile, some never reopened. Why the hell would they do this again?? I'm tired, guys I volunteer with are tired, wasting our time and energy, and money for what? Brutal.
  16. I usually only ride into Pembroke, but have seen many trucks/trailers parked at the back of the Irving's Big Stop, just off of Highway 17. It is located at intersections of trails 120/122.
  17. Hahaha, I remember hearing about those as well. Also the one where the coffee from McD's was too hot in the drive through. "Supposed to be hot, but not that hot"
  18. I'm sure it was better going after that, they cleaned up the trees as they came through....... right? Yeah....... NO, didn't think so. Been there. A-holes come same as you had, and without a pass to boot.
  19. I think it's a turbo charged 2 stroke snowmaking adapter kit thingy. Has LINQ brackets for front bumper and voila, no need to wait for snow, just make it as needed. And it will be wildly colourful. Just a guess.
  20. +4 in Pakenham, raining and windy. Should switch over to snow as soon as the last of the snow on the ground has melted, as per our usual January thaw. Hopefully the last of this crap for this season.
  21. Is that you Magnum? Should put it in as your avatar.
  22. We did the big loop back in 2000. Remember alot of "rugged ass terrain." I think I've blocked much of it out of my brain though, tough slugging through there, must have been fun in the groomer too.
  23. Well if that's the case and timing allows, try Odi's Kingburger Drive through. Its on Hwy 60, west end of town. I stop in there when passing through on the bike. Better than McD or Wendy's.
  24. If you take the 107 off of the A, it will take you to Tim Hortons. It's at the 106/107 intersection. Also gas right there also.
