  1. SOLD. Can I edit or delete this ad, or does an admin do that? Thanks for the comments and suggestions. It must be close to sleddin season, because potential buyers came out of the woodwork this week. Interestingly most were going back to Triton after some less than satisfactory experiences with other brands. Hopefully the cold, snowy winter kicks off by the start of 2020.
  2. Its coming, its coming! I feel like a 16 year old.
  3. I am envious Dan. Thanks for kickstarting the dreams.
  4. Congratulations on the sale. Somebody got a good reliable sled and you didn't have to sellout to Faceplant. Cheers.
  5. Good one Denis! Keeps the banks happy and the consumer products component of the economy cooking!
  6. That might be a good idea. Thanks! I forgot that ppl take on debt to by toys. Strange concept if you ask me, but then I have only borrowed money a handful of times in my seventy years.
  7. Thanks for all the comments. It seems there might be two issues here. For sure, not that many want a 4 place trailer, but also there seem to be fewer buyers willing to pay the Triton price. I can see the price being an issue unless you are a 'Triton' guy. Maybe we better search out a two for one trade?????
  8. Please help me here. There has been no interest in this trailer. Is that because ppl don't pull 4 sleds around anymore, or is the price perceived as too high? Rick
  9. Got mine too. $345 tax in, including $178 for Comprehensive (otherwise would be very cheap). That's with Certas (Desjardins).
  10. Listing for a friend who curiously has no email account. If interested please phone or text Rod at 905-320-9058. I might be able to answer some questions. (Rick 905-878-4439) Trailer is in better than new condition. Underside oil sprayed from new. $3000 spent on interior- full Caliber flooring layout, hold downs for 4 sleds, and shelving. Brakes on both axles just serviced to clean up rust from sitting for over two years. Two sleds have been sold and no longer require a 4 place trailer. Buyers of either of those sleds would vouch for the incredible condition and maintenance detail of Rod's stuff. Trailer has been used 5 or 6 times max, and not since Feb 2017. Readers of this forum generally recognize the added durability and value of Triton trailers, and this one really is better than new. $17,400. would consider clean 2 place enclosed trailer in trade up.
  11. Agree with Denis. Looks like an attempt to buy votes with the voter's tax dollars.
  12. My three closest riding buddies use them and won't go back to anything else. Semi aggressive on a Ski Doo GSX 900, aggressive on a short track Ski Doo 1200 and a 1200 Renegade. The first application in our group was on a Yamaha Apex that became an excellent handler once the Snow Trackers and some other changes were installed. I admit to really liking the ease of steering and the precision on most firm groomed trails. Don't like them as much when there is fresh soft snow on the trail. They really bite into wooden or rubber floored trailers. They need to have plastic runners under the skis or they are hard to get the sled moving.
  13. What everyone else said. I ride my 900 ACE with old muffs and old hands that have been operated on twice each. I use all three modes in different circumstances, and ride at a brisk pace. Haven't had the throttle errors with the 900 that I used to with 2 strokes. The more I ride this sled, the more I realize that 70% of trail sledders could enjoy riding a 900 ACE powered machine. That really makes it hard to accept Ski Doo's ridiculous limitation of models and track lengths that offer this powertrain. I was set to spring order a new one, but the colours and model availability are a sad joke. Wake up Ski Doo! Guess I will see how long these engines last. 13K and rising!
  14. Sorry to hear that the weather messed with the tail end of your ride. At least the issue was blowing snow and impending rain, but not a total meltdown. Thanks for the Blizzard info. Our group containing three 900 aces did a fuel trial with one machine from Wawa area to Searchmont. 320 km were covered and there were 3L left in the tank. I am thinking of buying a new sled, but it will have to be a 900 NA again.
  15. revrnd, thanks for the informative trip report and photos. I was out tripping the RAN+ this past week, and without a smart device, I wasn't following in real time. Your photos might be as close as I get to the Big Loop this winter, unfortunately. I can't help but notice that only one of the three Blizzards has the original TS skis (unless just the front loops were changed in one case). Looks like a set of split rails and maybe traditional Pilots. What do you all feel about the TS skis versus the changes made? What engines are in the other two Blizzards? Fuel comparisons? Thanks again.
