265 kms, my friend. Met two guys today who said they were already over 800 kms.

The early snow is long gone around Muskoka. Today I met with BFB to transfer his sled to my trailer, for a little day trip up to the North Bay / Mattawa area. We found plenty of snow on the logging roads and crown land. Looking forward to a great season. I'll have to put the new stickers in place soon.

Not sure why there would be any issue riding a Blast on OFSC trails. Am I missing something? By the specs, the Blast may have found a unique niche. If they're around 400 lbs, 65 hp should work fine and be easy to handle.

Denis, here is my new hero. I didn't film him going up, as he took off up the bypass trail to the right of the wider trail, before I could get my camera ready. I didn't think he'd go through with it. Excuse my laughter. (As usual, no OFSC trails or live animals were harmed during my fun. Family property, roads and concessions, while waiting for the official trails to become available.)

Here's a side trail that needs a lot more snow. No way was I going to give it a try.

I found some more pretty good spots today, and also made a new friend - - a crazy devil running loose on a 1998 670 HO Summit X.

I noticed an early skim of ice over most of Gull Lake in Gravenhurst today.

This early snow will likely disappear soon, but it's nice to have a rehearsal season to run around on some backroads and concession lines.

There are no doubt a few leaches and freeloaders in the sledding world, but we have plenty of good people in the clubs, districts and at head office. Good governors, executive, staff. Paul Murray and the rest are serious about their roles. Good vibes moving forward !

Dan, how many kms of good running is currently available?

I've had several good rides there over the past few years, during early and late parts of the season. It's only 75 minutes from my home in Gravenhurst. You really should follow up on gobills' suggestion about looking up past threads on this forum. Read judiciously, as there will be varying opinions.

I believe I briefly witnessed the back of this jacket one day last winter. It may transfer super riding powers to its wearer.
