I'm down for a ride anytime manotickmike, I'm only 15 mins from Rideau Carleton, that's where I was planning on dropping my sled once things open up.

I went with the superclamp ski guides and the rubber mat from Costco. Works amazing.

Just getting back into sledding this year after being out of it for a few years. All though our winter isn't off to the best start, I'm looking to find some new people to sled with. I am in the Ottawa area but don't mind travelling to the snow. I'm in my early 30's, I do like to ride pretty quick and put on the miles. Mostly a trail rider. I am still learning the area as I moved here a couple years ago from Niagara.

I just got back from Mont Laurier, QC yesterday, they got 30 cm in the morning and are getting snow all week. Trails are all in great shape, they are starting to groom everything up and then it will be mint.

Well the trails in/near Ottawa won't be open for a while still and need to get some riding in. I heard Mont Laurier is pretty decent so am thinking of heading there Saturday or Sunday. Anyone up for a good days riding?

Haha so true. I am itching to put a few miles on my new 850 though! Anyone have an idea of where I can drop my sled? I see a parking area just a bit south of the opened up section, hoping I can access from there. Not to familiar with that area but heading from Ottawa to Niagara on Sunday so I think a little detour is in order ( :

Hey Everyone Just wanted to say hey to everyone. I'm getting back into sledding this year, I haven't had a sled in about 5 years and it has been killing me! I moved to Ottawa from Niagara a few years ago so am still new to this area and haven't been on any of these trails before. I will definitely be looking for advice of where to ride, where to stage and maybe find some riding buddies as well. I am located a few mins from the airport, have an enclosed trailer to transport. Also, super happy about this early snow to the extent of annoying all my winter hating friends! Happy riding! Kyle
