I'm not sure I will ever buy a new sled again. The one I am on now is the first used sled I ever bought. Had 310 miles on it - paid $9,000.00 with 2 more years of warranty left, 10 years later - still going strong!

Mixture at my house- plows buried sidewalks that are now frozen blocks of ice about 2' feet thick. city can clear it themselves now

Take ride in Minnesota state, or almost any state, and count the Poo and Cats vs Doo's lol. The best thing Doo EVER did to grab market share was bring in the ride free for a year plan - they were first, got their teeth in and have never looked back - that coupled with good product of course. Brilliant really.

I think it's a great time to be a Polaris person. Ski-doo is OVR

So some snow tonight and tomorrow and we're in business?

Good decision! I still did the rink ,still got passes for the sleds, still got use each of them on an extremely limited basis. All of it is a complete and utter waste of time and money - but getting those 2 rides and 3 skates - clears the mind a bit and makes it worth it. Easy come easy go, can't take it with ya as they say

I have done the math on my rink for this year: New liner: 2 Water truck loads of Water 1 broken stick 3 days of use = $445.00 per skate lol Ready to put this winter behind and move onto to the nicer weather. I'm a winter guy, but if it's not going to be winter, then take the November all winter and shove it.

Tomorrow will wreak havoc on what little is left in most of the province. I tip my hat to these volunteers. ALL THE WORK ......so frustrating.

I would be very careful, worst year for ice I have seen. I am sure some areas are good to go, but nothing is even close to consistent.

Season is over folks Pack it in - put your money and mind somewhere else. Hands down the absolute shittiest winter in my 47 years.

Noticed a guy saturday come through the field we were in - his helmet had a red light on the back that was synched with the brake light. That was kinda cool

My time revolves around the hockey calendar - that's playoff season.

Well, it was too cold to take too many pics today, turn and burn for us, got up at 10:00 last night, did 128 miles with my son today, back home now and out the door at 8:00 am tomorrow for hockey. I will say, best “limited “ trails I have ever ridden. that term is disrespectful to the work done by the clubs and the conditions we had today, they were A+.

I see yellow popping up in our local area too. Nice to see as I don't think I need to trailer now tomorrow morning - hoping to ride around local and not too far from home given the cold temps
