  1. I don't understand why any landowner or municipality/region would not agree to sign a document that gives them $15 million dollar of free liability coverage and for the most part controls where the sleds go. Its a free for all without it.
  2. A week ago Friday I saw on Marketplace a 2023 Doo Turbo with 2900 km. on it advertised for $13,000.00 in Newmarket. I was tempted but not enough. It was showing sold when I checked early this week. Pretty decent deal and was surprised it stayed as long as it did.
  3. You can damage the Bearing Buddies very easily trying to get them off the hub. I have never tried to remove the Easy Lube end caps so don't know what they are like to remove. Possibly the previous owner or his hired bearing servicer damaged the originals and BB's were the quickly available replacement.
  4. Check out the Dexter manual at the following link: https://nhtrailers.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/DexterServiceManual.pdf Go to page 52 CHECK OUT THE CAUTION ON PAGE 52.
  5. Hard to figure with regards to the liability insurance that would be included if he signed.
  6. That's what we like to hear. Looks like you guys have done a good job with the MOU's.
  7. Shouldn't be any problem on local trails whe they open as the crews have been through to stake in the last couple of weeks and the groomer tractor drag has been out leveling trail this last week.
  8. Shouldn't take too many "sNOPROs" to finish it off with no base.
  9. My gas cans which fuel all the 2 & 4 stroke engines sit in an unheated garage with the caps always loose.
  10. I haven't had any problems with ethanol fuel. I use it in ten 2 stroke and 4 stroke engines as well as boat and vehicle.

  12. The OFSC already has that information. They have been tracking groomers for some time now. Those groomer tracs are what they used on the online map that shows all the land parcels and owners for this project. The only tracs they might not have are this year's new trails or reroutes. We have a municipality in our area that won't sign the MOU so obviously aren't concerned about free liability coverage for $15 million that it includes. I know its a lot of work that volunteers don't need hanging over them BUT the clubs were made aware that the insurer wanted this to happen 4 years ago.
  13. It does not mean that there are no MOU's signed. If only one landowner between each two intersections on every club trail was unsigned then no trails will show for that trail section on the ITG. All landowners between trail intersections must be signed for that section of trail to show up. Kind of tough to explain but I hope this does.
  14. 7-8" of snow in Heidelberg now. Most of it between 2PM and 7:30 PM today. So much for the OFSC not letting us do any land levelling on the fields until Dec. 1.
  15. Yep the ITG started working and the Quebec online map quit working. LOL
  16. Pic of Highway 11 northbound north of Severn Bridge a few hours ago.
  17. Is there something in print where we can read about it?
  18. The clubs in our District were told 4 years ago that this was coming. Like most things, most have procrastinated for various reasons. The new MOU's are to have the termination date filled in as ongoing. The problem some clubs are having is dealing with municipalities as shown above. An old regionally controlled railbed that did the "rails to trails" change decades ago is a very slow process in our area. It just takes a lot of time to get the bureaucratic approval. In this case we have a B trail that crosses over the railbed as well as multiple clubs that use parts of the railbed as trail.
  19. Along the east shoreline of Lake Huron the moisture laden air usually comes into the first decent higher elevation change. That moisture laden air rises to a higher altitude and then drops the moisture as snow. In the Goderich area for example that used to has mean 10 miles inland and beyond gets good snow .
  20. It's 35 km. east of the 597 (trail south to Murdockville) itersection with trail 5.
  21. It is a red foot bridge just one sled wide. The cables that support it are connected to rods sticking out of the ground at each end are in very bad condition.
  22. Yes. We always liked staying at the Hotel Motel Grand Vallee. Their food is top notch.
