P How does paying the taxman on a new/used  sled every year make sense?

Mostly limited to riding locally on weekends. My riding partner, the wife and I prefer Sunday afternoons/evenings at quieter times when the "yahoos* have gone home. Easy to see others with the same idea, I have gone solo in primetime and it can be mental out there, very similar to "Aholes" travelling the roadways with no regards for others.
