I was at Sir Sams's to fix a phone line and its a nice place with restaurants and lounge and very close to the ski hill. I think its still on or close to the trail. 

Very sad indeed and very little support from OFSC and their district is currently working with City of Kawartha Lakes to get a signed MOU. 

Thanks for offering, Steve contacted them on my behalf and they replied that I will get my refund today.
