    • They can be pricey to fix, shop labor rates alone are pretty high and parts aren’t cheap anymore.   would depend on the cost of the warranty, limitations on coverage, and how much risk I am prepared to take.
    • If you’re concerned invest the $5k in something liquid and make some interest on it.  Chances are very good you will never spend it.  $5k should go a long ways towards a re-build in the unlikely event it occurs.
    • I know I would pass too.  As sksman said, when xx year warranty is included in the price for snow check, it’s an easier thing to come to terms with, but for sure paying more upfront….or they offer a few different things for you to pick from I.e. warranty, cash in pocket, track, etc… buying non current has its pros and cons, but usually more pros than cons, like less money forked out!
    • I am leaning towards taking a pass on it. The leftovers all seem to come with a one year. Hard for me to lay down that kind of money for a what if scenerio. Here is a screen shot of pricing for the 650 we picked up yesterday. It is less than the price for the 850 we bought last year.
    • I think the extended warranty is cheaper when purchased at time of sale.  Or if you snow check.     $5,000 would cover a fair bit of the snowcheck price gap      My 2022 850 has 6,560km on it and runs strong.  No issues.   Its now my spare sled so only gets minimal miles  I still have extended warranty for one more season but am not worried about it.
