We are very pleased to have been able to open the trail after 2.5 weeks of phone calls, brainstorming, trail breaking, hard work and volunteering. Speaking of Volunteering, we believe that those who helped make it possible for the "C" Trail to connect from Sudbury to Northern Ontario for the 2012 season should be mentioned and recognized. Muskoka Man Posted February 9, 2012 Share Posted February 9, 2012 we rode that trail yesterday to the sportsman lodge , thanks to all the volunteers involved we enjoyed the run down through there , we were first ones on the fresh groom , all of the C trail from the sportman to shining tree rocked , as did the 107 into Gowganda , were home now coming back to reality Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not mentioned in the list above are the great people at 3 Bears and Auld Reekie who provided meals and lodging to the volunteers and still took had time to look for and help lost snowmobilers......We rode the trail a couple of weekends ago, unintentionally. Its a major artery of the system and a lot of sleds would have be very disappointed not to be on it this year. My thanks to all the volunteers for their sacrifices to make this all possible.
