....Some of you may already know that, as of last night, showing on the interactive map, the "C" Trail is now officially OPEN. We are very pleased to have been able to open the trail after 2.5 weeks of phone calls, brainstorming, trail breaking, hard work and volunteering. Speaking of Volunteering, we believe that those who helped make it possible for the "C" Trail to connect from Sudbury to Northern Ontario for the 2012 season should be mentioned and recognized.

Thanks to everyone. Not mentioned in the list above are the great people at 3 Bears and Auld Reekie who provided meals and lodging to the volunteers and still took had time to look for and help lost snowmobilers......We rode the trail a couple of weekends ago, unintentionally. It's a good alternative the original "C". Thank again to all who helped. We hope to be through again in a couple of weeks.

Glad to hear all of your hard work has paid an d"C" is open once again. Its a major artery of the system and a lot of sleds would have be very disappointed not to be on it this year. My thanks to all the volunteers for their sacrifices to make this all possible.
