Canuck
Here goes another beer commecial Why...it felt like... Hurricane Bill Cruel twist First storm of the Atlantic season. Flaky weather. Weather patterns seem to hang over us. Cold, hot - they don't move. Apart from the Atlantic, where it seems to be moving at a blustery pace. SlowTouringGuy
Lots of rain and crazy weather around us. Hydro 'dipped' around 7:30 or so. Apparently Gravenhurst got hit with one of those Twister/Funnels/whatever - guess I'll find out more about that tomorrow. Heavy rains here at TheRapids but we were spared the devastation in other spots of Ontarion we just watched on the News. Hope everone here is safe !! SlowTouringGuy
South end of town looks like a war zone. Either side of Bethune from the lights at Gull Lake park to the south end. There are about 500 chain saws running right now. Trees through homes, wires down, no phone service, no hydro. The Beer Store is Closed !! LCBO closed. Sobey's closed. And another storm predicted for this evening.
Giddy UP
I heard the weather was nasty around Gravenhurst last night - a friend told me he knows someone that was driving down Hwy11 last night at Gravenhurst and a picnic table flew across the highway just before the tress took out the hydro lines across the road We just got the heavy rain and thunderstorm here in Kearney - but the south sky looked bizzare! Red/Pink/Purple and BLACK! Glad to hear you are safe and sound in the Mouse's House Mr. Mouse! Mother Nature is ANGRY!
