Yet another Colorado low dumps snow over southern Ontario. ------------------------------------------------------------- ==weather event discussion== The fourth winter storm in a week has left its mark over Southern Ontario..Again in the form of yet more snow. Snow began Tuesday afternoon and continued overnight before changing to rain over southwestern Ontario. Snow has changed to rain this morning Over south central regions. Eastern Ontario and Muskoka to Algonquin will continue to see snow this afternoon. Some locations in the extreme southwest reported ice pellets and freezing rain during the transition from snow to rain and were forecast to receive less than warning amounts of snow. The Ottawa Valley is expected to see Several hours of freezing rain this afternoon and early this Evening. I used to walk 1 mile uphill to USS #5 to school in 6 feet of snow, then 1 mile uphill home so I could go sleddin on the HUSKY. Hope the Mossy family and every one on the OC have a very merry Xmas and may your ski's see many km's over the holiday! Remember: When you're go'in to see a Moose, you may as well see a big one!
