coolbane Posted January 2, 2017 Share Posted January 2, 2017 Me too. The starter on my Cat 7000 developed a dead short in Mt Forest today. I learned how to start a 4 stroke with a strap. BP I hope your right. I started it at gas pump, I rode 40 ft to clear pump, stopped it, then not another sound from starter. I don't think the gear teeth is chipped cause there was no grinding.
