sleddog Posted March 16, 2008 Share Posted March 16, 2008 Here is a quick synopsis of a week in Wawa by 8 SnomadS from the U.S. I've been coming to the area to ride for over 13 years, sometimes 3 times a season. This trip I brought 5 guys new to Canada and they were in awe of the trails and the scenery. We rode just over 1000 miles in 5 days doing loops out of Wawa and returning to the chalets in the evening. Our home for the week. MSA Club of the Year banner On the Lk. Superior view Sleddog North of Hawk Junction (Not my sled) Off trail scenic break Michipicoten River from the Dam Snomads on the McPhail Dam Trail D to Hornepayne from Dubeuilville. Great job GG!! The 2 days that we rode north, we came thru Dubre way before 10 and I knew you'd still be in your PJ's. The Weds. we rode to Hornepayne, I left Reg's number on the kitchen table. Where I put it as to not forget it. Duh!! We played around Hornepayne and it was after dark when we came thru D'ville and I figured you'd be napping so you could groom. My group is still talking about the trail conditions from Halfway to the Kaby River. They are used to Saturday afternoon moguls in Michigan. They were spoiled by their first trip to Canada. Thanx to both Clubs, the Allouettes and Wawa Sno Riders for maintaining the trails to perfection. I know you've already sold 8 annual permits for next year!!
