X2 - Nice waterfalls as well. I always liked running water in the winter, unless it's on the trail.

Nice pics AC+YA.

Are the Elliot Lake Falls easily accessible of the TOP trail, or a club trail?

(we started at Dunlop Lake Lodge years ago -- north of Elliot Lake -- and I don't recall the falls).

Wonderful pics, all around.

Elliot Lake FallsIMG_1179.jpg

These falls are seen from EL2 a club trail not far from the D Trail.

Coming south on the F Trail from Dunlop Lake, the trail hits the D Trail coming from the west. Turn right and take D Trail west until it hits the EL2 Trail. Then take and stay on the club trail EL2 south and the waterfall is on the trail after a few miles in.

The D & F Trails are combined through the Elliot Lake area and then seperate again once south of town. This season the D Trail portion was not groomed south and the F Trail had to be used.

Elliot Lake does a great job on trails and is always good for many local loops! Great trails - good times!
